Decentralized Robust Disturbance-Observer Based LFC of Interconnected Systems

چکیده

This article develops a novel decentralized controller for multi-area secondary load frequency control (LFC) of power systems. The proposed robust-adaptive approach estimates the external disturbance input and uncertainties, which are assumed to be matched with input. In this regard, disturbance-observer state-feedback is designed. To offer systematic approach, design conditions derived in terms linear matrix inequality constraints. Thereby, any given representation LFC area, gains can straightforwardly obtained by using numerical solvers. Moreover, order enhance steady-state performance, modified through heuristic genetic algorithm. procedure wholly offline simply implemented. developed does not need information other areas, reduces cost number measuring units. It also robust against fluctuations renewable energy sources. show superiorities controller, four scenarios considered. These comprise aggregation photovoltaic, wind turbines, electric vehicle system. OPAL-RT experiments verify transient performance robustness controller.
